Trapshooting at Lake of the Ozarks: A Premier Destination for Shooters

Experience World-Class Trapshooting at the Missouri Trapshooters Association

For enthusiasts of trapshooting, the Lake of the Ozarks is more than just a scenic getaway—it’s home to one of the largest and most prestigious trapshooting facilities in the world. The Missouri Trapshooters Association (MTA) is a must-visit destination for both beginners and seasoned shooters, offering top-notch facilities and a deep-rooted connection to the sport’s history.

The Missouri Trapshooters Association: A Midwest Legacy

Located in Linn Creek, Missouri, the MTA is the second-largest trapshooting facility in the world, drawing shooters from across the country to participate in competitions, training, and recreational shooting. With its expansive shooting ranges and professional setup, this facility hosts state, regional, and national events, making it a central hub for the sport in the Midwest.

Trapshooting, a sport that dates back to the late 18th century, has evolved into a highly competitive Olympic event. It requires precision, skill, and focus as shooters aim to hit clay targets launched at high speeds. Whether you’re a competitive shooter or just looking to try something new, the MTA offers an exceptional experience.
