For a fine dining experience with a fantastic wine pair, travel over to Shawnee Bluff Winery. In the summer relax lakeside, and in the winter you can cozy up by the fireplace indoors. The winery grows St. Vincent grapes and offers a unique deep red wine which pairs well with their hearty sandwiches.
For large groups, check out the excellent dining destination restaurant, The Blue Heron. Reservations of groups up to 40 can enjoy their selection together, making them an attractive option for reception parties. Their dishes pair with their signature blue champagne, which you won’t find anywhere else. Their plates give the nod to the owner’s homeland of Holland while incorporating traditional and classical dishes.

Another terrific waterfront hot-spot you won’t want to miss is Shorty-Pants. Their creole flavors offer a different flavorful experience for your taste buds to savor. The food resembles a premier dining experience, with French desserts, but is set in a casual environment giving you the best of both worlds.
